TAYETER
Tayeter is a 3
year old male mini
who was fostered with much love by Nita and Johnny
Wofford in Olive Branch, MS.
Tayeter's foster mom said
he's just the
sweetest little boy and nicknamed him “Sweet Tayeter”. He
loves human company
and would lay his head in his foster mom’s lap
and take a nap while she’s reading or watching TV.
Tayeter loved
to wrestle and play chase in the back yard
with his foster brother and sister, but he also
played with toys
by himself. He especially
likes to play with a tennis ball.
On Sept 15, 2006,
Tayeter was adopted by Bobby Taylor from Hattiesburg,
MS. Nita had told Bobby that Tayeter LOVES to
eat crushed ice and learned very quickly to jump up and
catch it in his mouth when she threw
it to him. One of the
first things Bobby did on the way back to Hattiesburg
with him was to stop and buy Tayeter a cup of crushed
ice. When Tayeter came to his foster home, he did
not like to ride in a car.
Bobby called Nita recently and said that Tayeter has
learned to enjoy riding in his truck. He goes to
work with him every day and is always with him when he
runs errands.

WOOHOO CLEO ! ! !
Ron & Jennie Gillihan, "failed" at fostering and
adopted Cleo on 2/12/07. |
CLEO
Cleo was lovingly
fostered
by
Ron & Jennie Gillihan, in Georgia.
Cleo came into
rescue from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania, when she was 2
years old.
Cleo had had several litters of puppies and was a
very scared little girl of about two. The minute
she was let out of the crate in the vet’s yard, she
ran around a minute or two then saw Ron sitting on a
bench. She promptly ran over, jumped in his lap and
went to sleep! Needless to say, Ron was in love.
We were her “foster parents” for about 10 days
before we could get the paperwork signed to make her
ours forever! Cleo has blossomed into a beautiful
sweetheart of a companion. She is still her daddy’s
girl, but mom’s okay cause she feeds her!

JINJER - previously SAMMIE Sammie was fostered with
much love and care by Julie Ingersoll in Jacksonville, FL
Sammie was adopted by Becky & Dolphus
Johnson and their two children
Delaney and Devin,
on 4/24/07 in Jacksonville, FL. They renamed
Jinjer Johnson.
Jinjer's mom recently sent us the
following letter:
"Jinjer is doing FABULOUS!
She drives the kids to school with
me in the mornings and when I am on the computer, she lays
under my desk or behind my chair. She is VERY vocal with
strangers now, protecting her pack, but always welcomes a
polite hand to pet her.
She LOVES my hubby and constantly nuzzles his hand. He
melts, and enjoys interacting with her (what a push over -
really). Jinjer is
wonderfully happy and has made a friends with her doggie
sister, Sweets Johnson.
I LOVE her, I couldn't have asked for a
better doggie! "
WAY TO GO JINJER ! ! !
