Sophie was adopted by Kelli Jewell on August 8th,
2007. |
SOPHIE
Sophie was fostered with much love
and care by David & Marilyn Denney in Brandon, FL.
Although she was with them for only a
short time, Sophie quickly made her way into their
hearts and it was more difficult than usual to let her
go! However, when the Denneys met Kelli and her friend,
Ryan, there was no doubt that she had found a loving
forever home.
Sophie's new mom wrote us and said:
"Sophie used to freak out when having to ride in the car
and would not get in on her own, but now she will jump
in and seems to realize that we are probably going
somewhere fun. Sophie continues to be a wonderful
addition to our lives. She makes Ryan and I smile
everyday."

JAKE Jake was lovingly fostered by
Meredith May & family in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Jake was adopted on August 11th, 2007 and
will be living in the Orlando area.
Jake's foster mom wrote: "Jake
immediately took to his new mom and dad. They had already
picked up a bed, food and leash. He jumped into their car
(after his new dad gave him a treat) and never looked back.
I cannot say that it is easy to let him go, but I really
think he has a WONDERFUL new home!"

Reggie was adopted by Sharon Ervin of
Wetumpka, AL. |
REGGIE Reggie was
fostered with lots of love and care by Jan Jones in
Wetumpka, Alabama.
Reggie was an "only dog"
all of his nine years until he landed with his foster mom,
where he had to tolerate 7 other dogs and 4 cats. Reggie's
foster mom thinks the quiet life is more his style.
Reggie was the most vocal
schnauzer his foster mom has ever had and she says he would
talk and sing whenever she rubbed his back or his ears.
He is a great boy and she really fell in love with him.
Reggie will be living only 5 miles from his foster mom, so
she will get to visit him every now and then.
Reggie finally has the
home he deserves after being fostered for over 6 months .
WOOHOO REGGIE ! ! !

DAISY
Daisy was lovingly fostered by Jennie & Ron Gillihan in
Newnan, GA and she was transported from FL to GA by two
new dedicated SLR volunteers.
Daisy was
adopted by Lisa and John Griffin of Alpharetta, Georgia,
on Sunday, August 12th.
The minute
Daisy got out of the car, she went to both Lisa & John,
and loved on them, - it was a done deal. The more
time they spent with Daisy, the more they loved her.
Daisy will be a very well cared for, much-loved little
girl and an only child. Think she’ll be spoiled? No
doubts here!
WOOHOO DAISY ! ! !

DELILAH
Delilah was lovingly fostered by Billy and Donna Wood in
Jemison, Alabama.
Delilah was adopted by Cia and Brock Tompkins
in Birmingham, AL on August 6th, 2007.
Billy
and Donna told us how very hard it was to let Delilah go to
her new forever home. However the joy and love the
Tompkins have to give Delilah eased their sadness at her
departure..
