RUTHY

Hi my name is Ruthy, or Ruthy Ann as my foster mom likes to call me. Right now I’m staying with my foster mom in Venice, FL until I find that perfect someone who will let me share my life with them.

I am a beautiful 8 year old black & silver female mini schnauzer weighing in at approx. 18 lbs. I have natural ears and a docked tail. I came into rescue because I had very bad teeth and my previous owner couldn’t afford the dental work I needed. This wonderful rescue was able to get my bad teeth pulled and the few remaining ones polished up so I’m feeling good now!

I have no medical problems and love to run and play. I love to play with toys and although I get along with other dogs I would prefer to have my humans to myself. I'm black beauty who really wants to be the center of attention.

I love to snuggle in bed with my foster mom and lay on the couch and watch TV with her and get kisses. I’m not to fond of anyone picking me up, instead I would rather jump up on my own. I love to go on walks but hate harnesses. Something about that thing going around my belly bothers me. Oh well, I guess everyone has a quirk or two. I love to eat and will bark at my foster mom in the mornings when it’s time for my breakfast.

I have lots of energy and would love to find my perfect human who will love me forever. It’s been a little scary leaving my original owners and ending up in rescue but I know the outcome will be worth it. I hope I will not be passed up because I am 8.  I am in good health and have plenty of spunk and love to share.
