STEVE

Hey lookers! ….I am Steve…I know that is a weird name for a dog, but I reminded my foster momma of her brother Steve…apparently he was inquisitive too! I am pretty young, my birthday is February 24, 2011. I am very small…less than 10 lbs and will stay very little. I have a special coat, it is called Parti...I have a docked tail and natural ears. I am a very healthy young boy; I just have my heartworm preventative and flea stuff once a month.

I sleep very well; need to be in a crate at night and taken out first thing in the morning and made to go potty otherwise I might get myself into trouble. But I am still trying to use the “I am just a puppy” excuse. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

I am learning to sit for a treat and to get petted. I do pretty darn good too. My foster mom just had hip surgery so she is not able to work with me much on my leash training. Right now I fight it and just get drug around. J But I have a big back yard with a doggie door so I spend a lot of time there playing with my other siblings and foster sibs.

I love other doggies and kids and people; I am not a scaredy cat like my brother. I would love to play with the foster cats, but they stay on the other side of the fence and torture me!! I also love me some toys and playing with the other doggies!!

I have a lot of energy and need a family that will spend time with me teaching me all the things good doggies should know and play with me until I am worn out! (I am not bad, “I am just a puppy” wink, wink)
